For a park stay, BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Torquay sits on the highway with a pool and playground; Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park is next to Surf Beach; and Jan Juc Caravan Park is the closest option to Jan Juc surf beach and Bells Beach.
Motels on Grossmans Road and the Esplanade are the usual overflow when the parks and resorts are full. Self-catered houses and apartments are plentiful in both towns — some take pets, some sleep a dozen — but always check the listing before you book. Most Torquay addresses are a walk or a short drive to the beaches, Gilbert Street and Surf City.
